The Meigs County Council on Aging, Inc. (MCCoA), a multi-service agency, was formed as a non-profit corporation in 1972.  The MCCoA coordinates all older adult programs through the Meigs Multipurpose Senior Center.  Our mission is to enrich lives through service and education.  The purpose of the MCCoA is to provide services to Meigs County's older population that enables and promotes "aging in place."  All services of the MCCoA are offered in a consistent manner with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.  All older adults residing in Meigs County are encouraged to participate in the Multipurpose Senior Center's scheduled activities.  Individuals or caregivers needing in-home assistance or information can contact us at (740) 992-2161 or by emailing us at programs@meigsseniors.com. 112 E.
